I began designing for the Worldwide Web over ten years ago, when most internet connections were very slow by today's standards, so I am sensitive to speed and filesize issues.
With extensive experience with video and animation I am well able to handle complex time-based content in today's high-speed environment, and poised to move into emerging technologies, such as mobile web and video.
I posses a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a Graphics Communications major as well as a Certificate in Interactive Multimedia. The latter was a highly intensive program at the North Orange County Community College in Fullerton, California (yes, the O. C.!) where I was one of twenty admitted to the program out of 250 applicants. There I received additional training in design for interactivity, advanced Photoshop techniques, especially for web design, Macromedia Director and Lingo programming, and 3D animation.
I currently utilize the latest versions of state-of-the-art software and coding on a shiny new Macintosh laptop, and have a Windows laptop as well.
