"The Little Angler "

This painting is based on a photo I took of my son at Walden Pond. I added the fishing gear to set the scene. One of the most challenging parts of the painting was the sand and sky reflectionin the lower left.

"Antique Colonials"

This was painted en plein air in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The Yellow house has an antique store on the first floor, which is probably why it is decorated with bunting.

"Andrew's Pier"

This was also painted in Plymouth. I have been asked, "Where is Andrew's Pier?" It is actually in my teacher Andrew's backyard and is not a functional pier.

"Vacation Naptime "

On vacation in Maine I saw these Big Wheels and the like all parked together and thought it was so charming. The long shadows show the time of day.
